Hickory Hills is in a beautiful location on Long Lake in the Saxeville WI area. The master bedroom and bath are located on the main level, with 2 kings beds, crib, desk. The open concept kitchen, dining room, livingroom w/fireplace leads out to the large deck with Wonderful Views of the lake and firepit area. The lower level has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, laundry area, and family room w/fireplace, patio doors lead to the hot tub on the patio. We are dog friendly, maximum of 2 dogs unless approved. Private pier and raft. Kayaks and paddleboards. Rental of the owner's pontoon boat. There are security cameras "outside" at the home. Long Lake is a sand bottom, clean lake where you can enjoy boating, swimming, fishing, relaxing. The views from the deck are simply breath taking! Must be 25 or older to book.

My family and I had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed spending time on the lake fishing and swimming and sitting around the bonfire at night. The beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this place to others. Bonnie was very friendly and easy to work with. The lake is beautiful and we loved the kayaks.

We had an incredible stay at Hickory Hills on Long Lake with our group. We highly recommend this stay! The cottage is conveniently located- a quick trip to Waupaca for all the cute shops and for groceries. The rental company and owner were very responsive to questions. Check in and check out were seamless. The cottage was spacious with plenty of parking for our group of 10 (aged 18-50s) It was quiet and private and well appointed. Long Lake is one of the clearest lakes we have ever stayed on- we thoroughly enjoyed kayaking, pontooning, paddle-boarding and swimming. We saw deer, eagles, loons, a muskrat, turtles and fish! We did rent the pontoon from the owner which was also fun. There were jet skis and water skiers and boats pulling tubes on the lake- all very respectful and obeyed rules for wake times.The MVP was the awesome huge deck with the view! It is a little steep to the water, but has trex stairs with a railing. The deck and fire pit had plenty of seating for our whole group. The stairs and deck did get a little hot- so watch bare feet and paws.The beds and bedding were all comfortable (Loved the king beds). The master shower was very nice- plenty of towels and TP! They even had extra beach towels.The kitchen was we’ll equipped. (Plenty of hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tablets and garbage bags for our stay). The hot tub was big and very clean- loved by the young adults. We loved our stay and highly recommend! Date of arrival - July 10, 2026

This was the perfect location for our larger family getaway. Plenty of space for 15 of us. The home had all of the amenities we needed for the week including kitchen items, towels, lake gear, etc. We all had a great time relaxing, enjoying the lake and hot tub, spending time together, and lots of laughter. The weather was great for our stay as well and we spent a lot of time out on the deck playing games. We were able to cook all of our meals while enjoying time together. We loved it here! It was a great winter getaway on a lake! We enjoyed the hot tub and its view so much! We also went ice fishing in the lake, just down the steps from the house. Everything inside was also lovely and the main bathroom shower was so luxurious! It's homey and roomy and had all the kitchen amenities too. Was a GREAT STAY - we will be back again! Want to try summer/fall time. I know it's not always possible, Bonnie also was really kind and flexible with our check in and check out times giving us a little more time, which we really appreciated. We just LOVE IT!!!!!

This was truly the best house we’ve ever stayed in. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed yet still peaceful and private. The home itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the little touches that made our stay extra comfortable. The host was amazing: super responsive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would 100% stay here again.
